"Lack of Response to Inquiries"
They really don’t get back to you when you ask something. Feels like this ain't your typical business, 'cause customer service is MIA. Figuring out how to send in questions or feedback is pretty unclear.

"shady experience"
Hey ladies, just a heads up to be super cautious. I was on the hunt for a unique dress for a Christmas wedding overseas and stumbled upon this site. Thank goodness I didn’t fork over any cash upfront! This place is seriously sketchy—save your bucks and your sanity. I've already found something way better. Check out Etsy, girls!

"Frustrations with Account Deletion Process"
It's tough to watch so many folks struggle to sell their dresses. I had a pretty rough experience with PayPal, so I'd recommend looking for a different payment option. Now that I've finally sold my dress, I'm stuck trying to get someone to reply to my emails about deleting my account. Apparently, that's something they have to handle, and there's no customer service number—just email. I've sent three messages since last week, and not a peep back, even though they were super quick to respond when I had issues with PayPal. Overall, the site was worth it for me, but this whole account deletion thing is a real hassle.

"Total Rip-off"
For over a year, I've been trying to sell a classic dress along with some accessories, and I haven't had any luck at all. You gotta pay upfront just to list it. It's been a complete waste of both time and cash.

"What's the Deal?!"
Honestly, I can't figure out why so many ladies skip over pre-loved wedding dresses, but they really ought to consider it. It just seems a bit silly to shell out crazy cash for a dress you'll only wear one time. I'd rather save that dough for my honeymoon, ya know? ;)

If you're on the hunt for a wedding dress, I totally recommend giving this a look. You can snag a Vera Wang gown for under a grand, which is pretty darn incredible.

"Why not?!"
I'm really not sure why more women don't opt for pre-owned wedding dresses but they should. I just don't think it makes much sense to spend insane amounts of money on a dress that you'll wear once. I'd much rather put that money towards to my honeymoon;)

Definitely suggest checking this out if you're in the market for a wedding dress. You can find a Vera Wang gown for less than a thousand dollars which is pretty dang amazing.

"Absolutely Thrilled!"
Roughly a year post-wedding, I got around to cleaning my dress and thought about preserving it. But then it hit me—I really wouldn’t need that dress again. I’ve got tons of photos, so keeping it felt kinda pointless. I checked out various consignment options, and Preowned Wedding Dresses offered me the best deal. Super pleased with how everything went and their really reasonable offer.

"Not a fan of this site!"
I've had my wedding dress listed on preownedweddingdresses.com for over a year and a half now, and it still hasn't sold. Honestly, I don't think it's a very effective platform. You shell out $25 just to list your dress, but it feels like nothing changes, even when I lowered the price to try and speed things up. The site doesn't really offer any other support to help sell your dress, except for asking for more cash. I've made the decision to take my dress down. Luckily, I found a consignment shop about an hour away that specializes in bridal wear. They’ve got solid reviews and offer various strategies to help sell your dress. They take a 50/50 cut once it sells, but at least I’ll get something back instead of just waiting around on the website with no results.

Honestly, if your dress doesn’t sell in a reasonable timeframe, the site should consider giving customers a partial or full refund!

"My Experience Buying and Selling a Dress"
I sold and purchased my wedding gown on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com. They’ve got a solid system, though it could use a bit of tweaking (especially for sellers, more on that later). I’m really thankful it was available when I was looking to buy and sell my wedding dress - I snagged a gown worth over $1500 for just about $200. (Bought for $500, sold for $300)

As a buyer: The site made it super simple to find styles that fit my size and budget. When I chose one, the previous bride/seller was quick to respond to my messages (and she was really nice, which was a bonus). Since it’s individuals selling their dresses, I guess there might be some differences in how fast they reply.

As a seller: The $25 flat fee to list felt a bit steep, but I factored it into my price ($325 instead of $300) and the dress sold in just two weeks. PreOwnedWeddingDress' price estimator only valued my gown at around $150, so I’d suggest listing it higher and then dropping the price if it doesn’t sell after a few months.
My only wish as a seller was that the payment method (I went with Paypal) was a bit more seamlessly integrated into the site.

Regarding the negative feedback about not getting your money back, I opted for the return policy recommended by POWD (money back if returned in the same condition within two days of receiving it). If you’re worried as a buyer, you can filter for dresses that come with a return policy.

In summary - I’d definitely recommend PreOwnedWeddingDress.com, and I’m really pleased I used their platform.

"Bought & sold my dress here"
I bought and sold my wedding dress on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com. They have a good system that could use some optimization (on the seller end, see below). I am very glad it was an option when I was buying and selling my wedding dress - I was able to get a ~$1500+ gown for net $200. (Bought for $500, sold for $300)

As a buyer: The website made it very easy to search for styles I wanted in my size and price range. When I picked one, the previous bride/seller was very responsive when I messaged her (and also super nice, which was lovely). Because individuals are selling their dresses, I imagine there may be variability in how responsive they are.

As a seller: The $25 flat fee to list was a bit expensive, but I built it into my price ($325 instead of $300) and the dress sold within 2 weeks anyway. PreOwnedWeddingDress' price estimator tool only estimated my gown to be worth ~$150, so I think it's worth listing higher than that and then lowering your price if no one is interested within a few months.
My one wish as the seller was that the payment option (I used Paypal) was a little more integrated into the site.

In response to the negative reviews about being unable to get your money back, as a seller I went with POWD recommended return policy (money back if shipped back in same condition within two days of receiving it). If you are concerned as a buyer, you can filter for dresses being sold with a return policy.

Bottom line - I recommend PreOwnedWeddingDress.com, and am very happy I used their site.

"Awesome platform for selling your dress"
This is an awesome platform for selling your dress. Super simple to navigate, and Josie is a pleasure to collaborate with. No problems at all. I’ll definitely suggest it and use it again.

"Positive Experience"
I managed to sell my wedding gown on this platform. It took a couple of months for someone to finally buy it, but considering the $25 flat fee and the little work I had to do, that was fine by me. I had attempted to sell it on Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist, but had no success there. It was great to find a site dedicated just for wedding dresses.

"My Experience with PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com"
Using PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com was a breeze, and it helped me get back some cash from a gown I chose not to wear on my big day. I really appreciate how it linked me up with tons of buyers nationwide. Honestly, I couldn't be more satisfied with how everything turned out.

"At Last, It's Gone!"
At last, it's gone! It took me more than three years! After trying my luck on Craigslist and Facebook, I decided to give this site a shot. I got a few inquiries that didn’t work out, but eventually, I found a buyer! Even though I slashed the price of the gown by 60% from what I originally wanted, I managed to sell my daughter's gown! Way better than just giving it away.

The whole process was super smooth, and I followed all the shipping and payment instructions provided on the site.
